La Tania – Children’s paradise of the three valleys
Located between Courchevel and Méribel in the middle of a pine forest lies the idyllic skiing station La Tania. At an altitude of 1.400 meters the picturesque village developed into a hidden paradise for young skiers. For good reason: The completely car-free winter sports village is basically a huge pedestrian precinct where children can move freely and safely. The majestic trees of the surrounding forests and the original architectural style with much wood that characterizes La Tania give the ski station La Tania belonging to the largest skiing region of the world, Les Trois Vallées, its charm.
Just as in the village itself, the winter sports area around La Tania also offers best conditions for the young ones. In specially designed children’s areas or on the Troika slope, the small ones can gather first experiences with snow and skies safely and for free. For those that prefer to sit yet, several slopes are available for sledding. Beyond that, there is a ski kindergarten for children three years and up.

Best requirements for young skiers
But of course also experienced skiers find what their heart desires in La Tania. Starting with the direct access to the skiing region of Trois Vallées with a total of 600 kilometres of slope. The skiing area of La Tania has a large selection of slopes of different levels divided onto 150 kilometres, which are perfectly connected with 58 lifts.
The winter sports offer is complete in La Tania with 60 prepared cross-country trails for various tours, and a Snowpark for snowboarders in nearby Courchevel.
Diversity also off the slopes
The leisure and Après-Ski-offer in La Tania is ideal for families with children. From treasure hunts and torch hikes to dog sledding and hiking all the way to paragliding, everybody will be satisfied. If you are looking for relaxation, you can choose to go to the cinema, a concert or shopping. Several restaurants, bars and pubs invite you to spend time after skiing.
