Unique cross-country skiing area
With a total of 86 kilometers of routes, the ski area provides cross-country fans with the largest cross-country network in Haute-Savoie. It stretches over the splendid high plateaus of the Beauregard massif and Les Confins. The cross-country skiing network is particularly enthralled by the variety and quality of its cross-country routes and the magnificent landscapes that permeate it. The routes of the ski area are prepared for both the classic and the skating technique. There are also routes for pedestrians and snowshoeers. The Nordic ski center of La Clusaz is also home to practice grounds for the playful introduction to cross-country skiing in the snow kindergarten "Club des pioupious nordiques" and in the "Nordic Ski Park".
The magnificent cross country ski area of Les Confins consists of 50 km of marked and perfectly maintained routes. It bears the seal of quality "Nordic France 4 Sapins" (best mark of Nordic France) and is the official venue for FIS cross-country skiing World Cup races. From Les Confins the cross-country skiers can reach the neighboring ski area Grand-Bornand via a 7 km long connecting route. Located on a magnificent plateau, the Nordic ski area of Grand-Bornand offers cross-country skiers a network of 8 perfectly groomed routes over a total of 36 kilometers.
Complete winter sports offer
La Clusaz offers deep snow skiers about 10 non-rolled pistes with a difference in altitude of 1000 m at the Balme massif, the highest point of the ski area. Snowboarders and freestyle fans of all kinds can enjoy themselves in the sunny snow park in the Aiguille massif. Accessible via three chairlifts, the Snowpark has numerous modules for every level as well as a relaxation area (chill zone). There is also a section designed especially for beginners where they can playfully make their first turns and improve their technique.
If that's not enough, La Clusaz has other winter sports activities to offer: biathlon, snowshoeing, dog sledding, ice skating, ski jöring, speed flying and snowskate. Also sledging is on the program, with three sledges and failed sledges, such as Skibock (precursor of the sled) or Yooner (modern sled on a runner).
Action and thrills await speed fans on the ice racepiste of La Clusaz. In electric cars you can drive over the ice course. The day on the pistes was long and exhausting? Then visit the Espace Aquatique, the leisure pool of La Clusaz. Here you can relax with massages and spa services, or simply enjoy panoramic views of the Aravis massif from the panoramic terrace.
