The apartment complex of Chalet des Neiges is one of the most popular of Val Thorens' holiday destinations Guests need only travel 200m to reach the ski runs, and can ski right up to within 50m of the complex at the end of the day. The apartments themselves, ranging in intended occupancy from 6 to 14 people, offer their guests a warm, cosy atmosphere, coupled with modern, tasteful furnishings. These include, for example, a flat screen TV, direct-dial telephone, south-facing balcony or terrace, safe, and in some apartments, a fireplace (1 free initial bag of firewood in apartments for 8 people or more only). Every property also has its own ski cupboard with electric ski shoe dryer. For example, new arrivals will find their beds freshly made-up, fresh hand towels hanging ready in the bathroom and a "kitchen set" with fresh tea towels and cleaning equipment waiting for them in the kitchen. Free wireless internet access isn't the only thing on offer in the reception area of Chalet des Neiges. Various pieces of bulky equipment can be hired from here free of charge, including baby cots and high chairs (reservation required), or indeed small stone grills or raclette/fondue sets. When it comes to post-piste relaxation, complex guests won't be dissapointed by the "wellness" facilities available to them, which include an indoor swimming pool and a sauna. Guests wishing to treat themselves to that extra little bit of luxury can, at an extra charge, book final cleaning or have fresh bread delivered every morning.
