Centaure

The quirky apartment complex of Centaure can be found in the historical heart of Flaine, right next to the Platières Gondola Cableway. A unique architectural blend of the traditonal with the modern has been achieved here through the use of wood, stone, glass and metal, creating a luxurious, yet at the same time warm and welcoming atmosphere for holidaymakers to enjoy. Along with the rest of the car-free resort of Flaine, the Centaure complex faces out to the south, affording its visitors 68 sun-bathed apartments and a breathtaking panoramic view from every window, or indeed from any of the balconies attached to every room. In addition, guests have the convenience of exceedingly close proximity to all the facilities. This of course includes the ski runs themselves, which are virtually on the doorstep and enjoy great snow conditions thanks to their orientation towards the north, as well as the many shops and restaurants in the resort centre, which itself lies directly opposite the complex. The generous furnishings and included services of the residence's apartments ensure a ski holiday of distinction. Every one of the apartments offer satellite television, wireless internet access, a telephone, towel warmer and hair dryer in the bathroom, as well as a ski storage cupboard with a ski shoe dryer. On the day of their arrival, guests will find freshly-made beds, fresh hand towels and a "kitchen set" with tea towels and cleaning utensils waiting for them. There is no need for guests to concern themselves with final cleaning on their day of departure either, as (with the exception of the kitchen) this is included in the price. So as to allow guests to make full use of their arrival and departure days, a luggage store is available for guests to use prior to checking in and after having checked out. This allows guests to spend their time out on the slopes, or simply relaxing in Centaure's cosy fireplace lounge. A range of extra equipment can easily be loaned from reception, including baby cots, high chairs, barbeques, fondue and raclette sets. Thanks to an in-house bread delivery service, guests can rely on fresh baguettes being available every morning.
