If you’d like to enjoy the advantages of a car-free, family-friendly, tranquil ski resort, in the middle of France’s fourth largest ski resort, then Le Corbier is the right place for you. The 310 kilometres of the Les Sybelles ski resort stretch out on both sides of this small, modern ski resort at the heart of the Arvan-Villard massif. The unique 360° panoramic view of the impressive peaks and glaciers is included, naturally. The fact that nearly all the accommodation in Le Corbier enjoys direct access onto the pistes and lifts means that a skiing holiday in Le Corbier is as relaxed as it can possibly be. Furthermore, the individual residences are linked with one another by an attractive shopping passage so that all the amenities in Le Corbier really are literally at arm’s reach.

Only the ski resort of Le Corbier, with its 90 kilometres of pistes and 25 lifts, offers such a wide range of different runs, for beginners through to experienced skiers. If you would like more variety then both sides of the resort offer direct access to the rest of the Les Sybelles resort, with a total of 310 kilometres of pistes. The ski resorts of Saint Sorlin d’Arves, Le Corbier, La Toussuire and St. Colomban are also perfectly linked to one another so you don’t have to take your skis off in order to explore the whole area.

Skiing fun for everyone

A particular highlight for true professional skiers is to be found right in the Le Corbier skiing area. At 1 kilometre long and with a difference in height of 500m the J.N. Augert black run is the most difficult in the whole ski resort. There are also sporting challenges for skiers in the form of the freeriding and powder snow areas of Ouillon, Bellard, Grand Truc and Les Perrons in Les Sybelles. Snowboarders and freestylers will love the snow park in Le Corbier, which is suitable for beginners as well as the more advanced and offers a boardercross stretch as well as boxes, tables, hips and other obstacles.

If you want to enjoy the beautiful area around Le Corbier in a more relaxed style then there are 13 kilometres of well-groomed cross-country trails, including 1.5 kilometres of skating trails. It’s also worth taking a tour along the longest trail in Le Corbier, the 6-kilometre long Garney et Lombardaz, or the charming high-altitude cross-country trail, Le Clos, which goes from a height of 1,600 to 1,700 metres.

Little skiers will be in good hands in the ski nursery and the children’s ski school and can train on the resort’s own children’s practice slopes.

If you have leisure time off the slopes then Le Corbier offers you the choice of relaxed shopping in the ski resort’s cosy shopping passage and an adventurous trip on the Piste de luge toboggan run, also available for a small adrenaline rush after dark.
