Right at the heart of the Les Balcons de Val Thorens complex, right on the ski runs themselves, holidaymakers will find the top-class residence of Les Balcons Platinium, where guests are treated to true luxury and first-class service. The apartments range in size from 41 to 150m², and in intended occupancy from 4 to 12 people each, all tastefully furnished and equipped to the highest standard. Alongside the standard appliances one would expect, each kitchen features ultra-modern induction hobs and a self-cleaning fan oven Both an ordinary coffee machine and an espresso machine for use with coffee granules are provided. In place of ordinary baths, every apartment is furnished with jacuzzi bathtubs, providing the ideal way to relax after an exhilerating day out on the slopes. The 6-room 12-person apartments even have their own private sauna. Each property provides, as standard, free internet access, a flat screen TV, direct-dial telephone and balcony. Apartments intended for 8 people or more also contain a stove. All bedrooms have a balcony, as well as internet access. This is all rounded off by the provision of a ski cupboard and ski shoe dryer. These can be found on the very bottom floor of the complex, which also offers direct access straight out onto the ski runs. The comprehensive range of services on offer also helps to ensure guests a comfortable and stress-free stay. These services included ready made-up beds upon arrival and fresh towels, which are changed once mid-stay. Final cleaning (of all areas except for the kitchen) is also included in the accommodation price, as is the use of the secure luggage storage service on arrival and departure day. Parents with young children in tow will be glad of the convenience of loaning bulky equipment such as high chairs and baby cots (mattress and sheets not provided) from reception at no extra cost. Guests will find 2 first-class restaurants within the immediate vicinity of the complex. "La Cabane" features a quaint, rustic atmosphere, with an open fireplace and open kitchen, combined with fine regional dining. Whereas on the other hand, "L'Auberge des Balcons de Val Thorens" is open all day, and boasts an attached bar (with pool table) and large sun terrace, which is also accessible straight from the Plein Sud ski run. Its menu features a range of both Savoyard and Italian specialities. Les Balcons Platinum's residents also have the option of reserving half board catering here.
