A Ski-Region with an Optimal Mix of Activities
Upon arrival in the skiing region, there is a diverse range of slopes available to the winter sports enthusiasts. Beginners can gain their first skiing experiences in a relaxed manner in the practice area near the station as well as on the spacious blue pistes on the lower levels.
Challenging slopes for experienced skiers are most notably located in the altitudes below the Le Pierra summit. In addition to the adventurous black slopes, there are exciting off-piste trails here and in the area around the neighbouring Pic de Bure summit.
The snowpark in SuperDévoluy is a meeting place for snowboarders and freestylers. The so called „Mushroom Park“ at an altitude of 2000 meters has a boardcross route and a slopestyle area for beginners and pros. The range of freestyle activities is completed with a giant air bed , the „Big-Air-Bag“, on which ski and snowboard-acrobats can land safely and softly after jumps and other stunts.
35 kilometers of cross country slopes, which are divided into 15 routes, and 30 kilometers of winter hiking trails complete the classic range of winter sports activities in SuperDévoluy.
A skiing holiday in La Joue du Loup becomes more relaxing for parents thanks to the numerous service and leisure facilities specifically for families, for which the resort was awarded with its „Famille Plus Montagne“ label. Young holiday guests aged 15+ months can be looked after for whole or half days in the local day care centre or ski-nursery. A sledging slope and a play area are available as well. Parents can also leave bulky equipment such as cribs, prams etc. at home and can instead conveniently borrow them on site.
