The perfect piste area for every requirement
Thanks to the fact that the various parts of Saint-Lary have a very different range of slopes, each of the three areas attracts certain target groups. So Saint-Lary 1700 / Pla d'Adret, the lowest area of the ski area, is the ideal winter sports destination for families and beginners. Here you will find a ski kindergarten right at the foot of the pistes for the next generation of young skiers from the age of 3, a spacious practice area with its own carpet lifts, 2 toboggan runs and the Kidpark in Saint-Lary - a freestyle course for little winter sports enthusiasts from 6 to 12 years old.
Significantly more challenging pistes characterize the pistes of Saint-Lary 1900, which is next door, so to speak. In addition to sporty red and black runs, experienced skiers can also look forward to a slalom piste. In addition, in the area of Saint-Lary 1900 starts the legendary Mirabelle ski run, which is 3.6 kilometers long and belongs to the longest runs in the Pyrenees. If you want to enjoy the snow without skis or snowboards, you will also find a toboggan run and several hiking trails.
The third and highest area Saint-Lary 2400 is finally the mecca for snowboarders and freestylers. The snow park of Saint-Lary, which is located here, consists of several slopestyle lines for all levels from the mini-park to the professional zone. The normal pistes of the highest area range from a practice track to some black runs. A 3 kilometer long trail and winter hiking trails can also be found in the high altitudes of the Saint-Lary ski area.
If this ski resort trio is not enough, you can choose from other attractive winter sports in and around Saint-Lary. Deep snow fans, for example, in the off-piste areas at the Pic du Midi. And if you are looking for a unique speed experience, you should not miss a snow scooter tour after the run. A more leisurely is a dog sled ride through the fir forests of the natural Nordic area "la Couéou", which lies around 12 kilometers from Saint-Lary Soulan.
