Peyragudes - The combination location for double fun on the pistes Peyragudes (1600 m)

logo

After the two ski resorts les Agudes and Peyresourde have joined forces in 1988 and since then present themselves as ski location Peyragudes, they are considered together as one of the largest locations of the Central Pyrenees.

While les Agudes originated mainly in the 60s, the modern apartment complexes in Peyresourde, also at 1600 meters altitude, are more recent. Both stations also offer a good infrastructure with supermarkets, shops, restaurants, bars and care facilities for small holiday guests. Both in Les Agudes, and in Peyresourde a kindergarten for no tourists from 2 or 3 years is available as well as ski kindergartens for the young ski pistes from 4 years.

Ski kindergarten and ski school can be found in each of the locations centrally located at the foot of the pistes, which guarantees especially families a relaxing stay. In Peyresourde, which is spread over the Village and Balestas districts, some 700 meters apart, holiday makers have a free shuttle bus that takes them directly to the center of Peyresourde Village.

Also reachable by shuttle bus is the BALNÉA thermal spa, located in Loudenvielle, a 20-minute drive from Peyresourde. Skiers have the opportunity from Peyragudes to enjoy a complete pampering program on a ski-free day. A total of 4 different areas of the spa no wellness wish remains open.

At the heart of the Roman area is a large lagoon with massage jets, neck showers, whirlpool, steam room and baths with temperatures of 18 to 36 degrees.

In contrast, the Indian area is ideal for families and houses a large pool, which is also equipped with neck showers and bubble loungers and a lazy river. In addition, there are whirlpool and steam room.

So to speak, the in-house spa of the BALNÉA spa is the Tibetan area, where you can indulge in wellness treatments such as hot stone and oil massages, mud wraps for the body and facials.

As the last stage is dedicated to the Japanese area of the Thermal relaxation of legs and feet, this is ideal for winter sports. When walking through a waist-high narrow basin with 33 degrees water temperature, first ankles, calves, legs and thighs are massaged through jets. On the pebble bed that follows, the soles of the feet are then given a gentle massage. Before finally the 3 panorama corners of the spa invite you to relax.
