The luxury apartments of L'Oxalys can be found at the edge of Val Thorens, right at the foot of the blue-rated ski run "Pluviomètre". Sun-bathed, sophisticated and tranquil in equal measure, the 36 apartments offer their guests a superb panoramic view, combined with the convenience of being just 300m from the shopping facilities of the resort's centre. In capacity from 4 to 8 guests, every one of the apartments offers the same idyllic level of comfort. To this end, virtually all of the bedrooms are equipped with an en-suite bathroom, and the vast majority of the living rooms are complimented by an open fireplace. In addition to this, all apartments contain, as standard, at least one flat screen TV in the living room (sometimes also a second in one of the bedrooms), a DVD player, a phone, and a safe, as well as a hairdryer and towel warmer in every bathroom. Each of the properties also has a balcony at its disposal, as well as a reserved cupboard in the communal ski store. A number of the 6-person apartments even have their own private sauna. For that true feeling of pure rest and relaxation, L'Oxalys spoils its guests with an extensive spa area, incorporating swimming pools, 2 saunas, a steam pool, Jacuzzi and Solarium. These facilities are complimented by an addtional "wellness" area, where guests can book themselves in for a range of massages and beauty treatments. Spa customers visiting this extra area also have access to a counter-current pool and steam pool. Residence guests have access to this area, subject to reservation each day. Further enjoyment is also assured at L'Oxalys' in-house restaurant, which goes by the same name as the residence itself. The restaurant's resident 2-star chef delights diners with a range of regional and international specialities, coupled with fine service and of course the spectacular panoramic views. The restaurant is open all day, allowing guests to indulge in breakfast, lunch and dinner as desired. In addition to the in-house restaurant, visitors will also find a cosy bar area right in the heart of the lobby, which is also open all day and is great for some coffee and cake, or even for an après-ski gathering at the end of the day. A range of all included hotel-style services ensure that L'Oxalys deivers a holiday experience to remember, without the stress: ready made-up beds, fresh hand towels that are changed mid-way through the holiday, mid-stay and final cleaning (of all areas except for the kitchen), as well as wireless internet access. On top of all this, guests are provided with a "Spa Set" (including a bath towel, bathrobe and bathing shoes), a "Kitchen Set" (including tea towels and various cleaning products) and a bag of firewood. Further equipment that may be required, such as high chairs, baby cots, baby bathtubs, irons or blenders, can also be loaned to guests for free if desired. Those who wish to treat themselves to that bit more luxury also have the option of booking extra services such as half or full-board, massages and beauty treatments, a catering service or a bread delivery service at an additional cost.
