With the free ski and local bus one can reach in about 3 minutes in the first-class ski resort of Portes du Soleil. The vibrant village center of Châtel with various shops, restaurants, après ski bars, 2 ice skating rinks, indoor pool / sauna / solarium, horse-drawn carriage rides are ~ 900m.
